Scope
The following steps will allow you to configure the Bria softphone application for use with your PBX.io hosted voice service
Items Needed
IOS or Android phone
Bria app from iTunes or Google Play store
SIP user
SIP password
PBX.io domain
Login to PBX.io
Download Bria from iTunes
Download and install Bria iPhone Edition - VoIP Softphone SIP Client from https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bria-iphone-edition-voip-softphone/id373968636?mt=8
Download Bria from Google Play Store
Download and install Bria VoIP Softphone SIP Client from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bria.voip&hl=en
Obtain Your Domain Info
Log into PBX portal
Login Name will be your extension@your domain I.e. 1001@company
Enter your Password
Click Log In
Click on the Phones button at the top
Select the configuration button for the extension you want to configure
*Note that you will only see the information if the phone model is set to Manual or SoftphoneTake note of the Domain, Outbound Proxy, Username and Password
Click Save when you are finished
Account Configuration
Open the Bria app
Click on the +icon at the bottom right
Select the first option SIP Making Calls
Under each option enter the following information:
Scroll down to Voice Mail > VM Number and enter 5001
Scroll down to Account Extras and then Account Advanced
Scroll to Account Additional
Outbound Proxy: Outbound Proxy from previous steps
Authorization Name: Username from previous steps
Select the check mark at the top of the screen
You will be presented with a notification for the Bria Push Service. This step is optional but recommended. Read the disclaimer then make your selection. Reach out to support if you have any questions on this.
Conclusion
If successful you will be taken back to the Accounts screen. Your account will show registered with a green dot indicating availability.
