Scope:
This document will show you how to provision a line to a Yealink Base Station.
Requirements:
Office Manager access to the PBX Portal
Mac Address and model of the Yealink Base Station
Accessing the web GUI of the base
Enter the IP address in a web browser.
Enter the login information. ( If you do not know contact your vendor for more information.)
Provisioning the line to the Yealink Base Station
If the Yealink Base Station is already on Yealink Redirection and Provisioning Server.
Add the phone to the user that is going to be using a handset. ( Set the Model of the phone to of the base or handset model and enter the mac address of the base.)
βLogin into the web GUI of the base.
βClick on the Settings tab.
βAt the left menu click on Upgrade.
Click Reboot.
Once the base comes back up the first line should be registered. (Note: This is only for the first extension. If you are adding other lines then you will want to go to the Auto Provision tab and click on "Auto Provision now".)
If the Yealink Base Station is not on Yealink Redirection and Provisioning Server. Follow this document to get the first line registered and then If you are adding other lines then you will want to go to the Auto Provision tab and click on "Auto Provision now"
